Women's Sports Rally — Philly Unrivaled

BestMates Travel partnered with Women’s Sports Rally for a three-day weekend trip to Philadelphia — anchored by an Unrivaled basketball game at Xfinity Mobile Arena, a stay at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar in Center City, and group transport from New York via Amtrak. The trip was built as a modular package: pick the components you wanted, share a room to bring the per-person price down, and lean into the social weekend that Women’s Sports Rally was running on the ground.

• PHL → NYC: 12:00 PM – 1:29 PM, Train 118 Northeast Regional
• Group fare on a discounted block

Friday Bus Shuttle — $66

Easy travel from Philadelphia 30th Street Station → hotel → Xfinity Mobile Arena → hotel on Friday night, so nobody had to figure out rideshare on game day.

Kimpton Hotel Palomar (2 nights)

A top-rated Center City hotel close to Rittenhouse Square and the lively Gayborhood. Per-person rates depended on room sharing:

• Solo (1 person): $425
• 2 people sharing: $212 each
• 3 people sharing: $158 each
• 4 people sharing: $130 each

Itinerary

Day 1 — January 30 (Friday) | NYC → Philly

• 12:30 PM: Meet at Moynihan Train Hall, NYC
• 12:54 PM: Amtrak departs NYC for Philadelphia
• 2:19 PM: Arrive Philly, group bus to Kimpton Palomar
• Late afternoon: Hotel check-in, complimentary Wine Hour at the Kimpton
• Evening: Group bus shuttle to Xfinity Mobile Arena for the Unrivaled game
• Post-game: Bus back to the hotel

Day 2 — January 31 (Saturday) | Philly Day

A self-directed Saturday in Philadelphia. Explore Rittenhouse Square, the Gayborhood, the Reading Terminal Market — your call. Women’s Sports Rally organized social activities throughout the weekend on Partiful for anyone who wanted a group plan.

Day 3 — February 1 (Sunday) | Philly → NYC

• Hotel checkout
• 12:00 PM: Amtrak departs Philadelphia for New York
• 1:29 PM: Arrive Moynihan Train Hall, NYC
